Firstly we would like to thank you for being a part of this years league. In particular we would like to thank you for your help and understanding at our opening event in Malaga, where we experienced the worst weather during an event in our history. Thankfully we ended the season in Turkey with probably the best weather we have had.
During 2009 we held one of our 5 events as an open cup in Paris, making a departure from our normal 5 leg league. After taking account of all feed back we have decided not to repeat this in 2010 and will therefore return to a 5 leg league as normal.
As always we are working hard behind the scenes right now in order to get the best possible venues with the best possible deals for teams confirmed. We are currently much further ahead with this than normal and can confirm our first two events with provisional venues for the last three. Shortly we believe we will be in a position to fully confirm the schedule detailed below. From lessons we learnt this year in Turkey, we are also negotiating very hard for improved hotel deals for teams at all venues and will bring advanced information on this as soon as possible.
The rules commission is also currently looking at the rule book to see where and if any changes are necessary. One rule that will be changed for 2010 will be regarding caliber. There is a growing demand to allow other calibers to participate in The Millennium Series and we are pleased to confirm that in 2010 we will allow both 0.68 0.50 cal. As a result we will open up our events to new companies who will be looking to sponsor teams. We expect to start announcing 2010 sponsors very shortly.
We are also looking at some fine tuning of our events in order to add to the overall atmosphere and smooth running with the hope to be able to help cut your costs further. We will shortly be contacting you for your feed back to assist us in our planning.
In the meantime if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at the Millennium. Once again thank you for your support.

Dear Teams, Players & Paintball Industry,
Having started the 2009 season in the worst storms during an event in our history it was nice to end in the near perfect conditions we experienced at our closing event in Antalya, Turkey.
We would like to thank all our Teams, Players & Sponsors for their support during 2009 with a particular thanks to all those who attended Turkey and helped make it the success it was. We must also thank the Turkish Shooting & Hunting Federation, without whom Turkey would not have been possible.
The Millennium Series has always looked for new approaches to our sport in order to increase markets and help new ones develop, we have proved our commitment to this many times. We also believe in continued innovation trying to juggle the various needs of the industry as a whole. Their were several critics of our plan to go to Turkey as has been the case in prior examples. We hope now that with such a magnificent season ending event we have silenced these voices and can now firmly put Turkey on the Paintball map.
In the next two weeks you will be receiving a great deal of information regarding the 2010 season plus an opportunity to express your opinions in order for us to develop and improve the Millennium further.
Once again thanks to all 2009 Millennium participants.

23 of July, 2009Campaign Cup 2009
With the Campaign Cup next on the Millennium tour we are pleased to announce that preparations are going well at this new venue and it is set to be another great event to follow Paris. Registration is now open and places are available in Division 2 and Division 3.
To help teams with their budget the Millennium have negotiated an incredible deal with the venue at Barley Lands Basildon for camping and caravanning onsite just 50m from the playing fields. The cost is just £5 per tent or caravan per night and includes use of a brand new shower and toilet block. The site is very secure with its own electric operated gate system with coded entry for those staying on site. To book your camping pitches please call Barleylands campsite direct on +44 (0)1268 532253 and be sure to use the key word "Millennium" to get this discounted rate.
For those travelling by air to the UK please note that the nearest airport is London City airport, followed by Stanstead , then London Gatwick. London Heathrow is a long way from the venue and it is not as easy to reach the venue from here, so we advise this be your last choice.

08 of July, 2009Notorious London Ban
Following a Millennium Series Board meeting held on Monday 6th July, the decision was reached to hereby ban the team Notorious London from future 2009 Millennium Events.
Due to the unruly behaviour of certain team members at our Bitburg Event, the Millennium Series Board have no option but to ban the team for the remainder of the 2009 season. The Millennium will not condone such behaviour as was exhibited by this team, especially considering the volatile situation regarding Paintball, in Germany at the time.
It is unfortunate that this action had to be taken but due to the reasons stated above, the Millennium Board must fully adhere to the Millennium Rules and enforce the appropriate disciplinary procedures.
